Q: How long have you been in the special event industry?

A. For over 25 years. I started when it was all still called “party planning…

Q: How many planners have you coached?

A. I’ve coached hundreds of planners over the years. Most planners I’ve coached are started or jump stating (Taking their business to the next level) their business. They are all really committed to their future and creating the business of their dreams. Another words, this isn’t a game to them. They hire me so we can design and achieve a step-by-step plan and execute it week by week to success!

Q. How long do you normally work with planners?

A. 3-12 months depending on what they want and what their schedule is like. We usually meet weekly or bi-weekly depending on their goals.

Q. Do you give homework? 

A. Yes! Each time you meet you will get assignments that are geared to take you to the next step which takes you closer to your goals and dreams!

Q How much do most event planners make for a living?

A. I would say most make between $21,000 to $60,000 a year. It depends whether they are full time or part time, their geographical area, how much they promote themselves and the services they offer. Naturally there are planners who make less and a lot more. I believe that we can make a specific plan that works for you!

Q. What is the cost for your coaching?

It can vary a bit depending on your needs and how often we meet. Typically I charge what many people spend on buying their lunch each week. we discuss that specifically when we meet for your FREE consultation.

Q Is the industry growing? 

A. Depending on what you read or who you talk to it varies. But it’s always growing from 14% and up a year, so there’s room for your business!

Q. Will I be able to start my business when we’re done working together?

A. Yes. If that’s your goal.

Q. What is your specialty? 

A. Marketing is my back round and that seems to be the biggest stumbling block for most independent planners. That’s why we put together an affordable marketing plan for you to use year after year.  I also love design and creativity. I like to share ideas that can set your business apart.

Q. What the process of hiring you? 

A. We schedule a FREE 60-minute consultation to discuss your goals, questions and timeline. Then we review what you can expect and whether we feel like we’re a good fit. From there we take timely steps to move forward in a way that is comfortable to you.
